Ann Lander's Sister's Famous Meatloaf
(From the Detroit Free Press)

Ingredients

2 pounds ground round steak

2 eggs

1-1/2 cups bread crumbs

3/4 cup ketchup

1 teaspoon Accent

1/2 cup warm water

1 package Lipton onion soup mix

8-ounce can tomato sauce

2 strips of bacon

Directions

Mix all ingredients thoroughly, EXCEPT the tomato sauce.

Put into loaf pan and cover with two strips of bacon (if you like that flavor, and don't keep a kosher kitchen and you have no restrictions against pork)

Pour the 8-ounce can of tomato sauce over all.

Bake one hour at 350 degrees.

Serves 6
