BISQUICK CHICKEN & DUMPLINGS
INGREDIENTS
1/2
cup chopped onion
1/4
cup margarine
2/3
cup flour
1/2
tsp. Salt
1
10 1/2 oz. can chicken broth
1
cup water
3
drops hot pepper sauce
2
1/2 cups cubed cooked chicken
1
carrot (finely diced)
1
cup sour cream
1
tbsp. parsley flakes
Dash
of paprika
Bisquick
DIRECTIONS
Sauté
onion in margarine until tender
Stir
in flour and salt. Blend until smooth
Add
chicken broth, water, and hot pepper sauce
Cook,
stirring continuously until mixture thickened
Stir
in chicken, diced carrots, and sour cream
Simmer
until thoroughly heated.
Make
dumplings according to directions on Bisquik box
Drop
dumplings by spoonfuls in hot mixture. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes.
Then cover and simmer for 20
minutes.
