Hot Artichoke Cheese Squares:

Ingredients

1/3 cup onion chopped

1 clove garlic, mashed

2 tablespoons bacon fat or butter

4 eggs, beaten until frothy

1 14-oz can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs

1/2 pound Swiss cheese, shredded

2 tablespoons minced parsley

1/2 teaspoon salt

Pepper to taste

1/4 teaspoon oregano

1/8 teaspoon Tabasco sauce

Directions

Sauté onion and garlic in fat. Combine with remaining ingredients.

Bake in a greased 7x11 inch baking dish at 325 for 25 to 30 minutes.

Cut into 1 inch squares.
