......... Lila writes, "I found this really wonderful sounding appetizer cheesecake recipe in the Boston Globe Newspaper that I'm definitely going to make for Thanksgiving. It's from Judi Dodsson, owner of Aloha from Oregon, an elegant line of pepper jellies.
PEPPER
JELLY APPETIZER CHEESECAKE

8 oz pkg. cream cheese
2
eggs
2
cloves garlic, minced
10
oz grated sharp cheddar cheese
8
oz your favorite pepper jelly
Preheat
oven to 350' Mix first four ingredients in food processor, then add
half the pepper jelly and blend.
Grease
a 9" springform pan and pour in mixture. Place another pan
filled with water on oven floor or on rack under the cake to help
keep from drying.
Bake
45 minutes, or until brown on top and toothpick comes out clean.
Cool
on rack, then refrigerate for several hours before serving.
Remove
rim from pan and spread remaining pepper jelly over top of cake, and
serve with basket of crackers at room temperature.
