Pink Lemonade

Ingredients

1 cup sugar

10 cups water

1 cup lemon juice

1/4 cup grenadine

1/2 pint fresh raspberries or strawberries (optional)

Directions

Cook sugar and 1 cup water in a saucepan, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.

Cool; pour into a large container.

Stir in remaining 9 cups water, lemon juice, grenadine, and if desired, raspberries or strawberries.

Yields 3 quarts
