Pork Chop Supper

Ingredients
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
6 pork chops
6 oz can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sour cream
24-ounce package hash browns
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese, separated
salt and black pepper to taste
Directions
Heat the oil in a large skillet and lightly saute the onion and garlic until slightly softened.
Add the pork chops and fry until they are browned.
Stir together the soup, milk, sour cream, hash browns, and 1/2 cup cheese.
Spread this in a 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
Arrange the pork chops on top, cover, and bake at 350F degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
Uncover, sprinkle the remaining cheese on top, and bake for 5 to 10 minutes more, or until the cheese has melted.
Serves 6
