Quick Fiesta Bake

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 package taco seasoning mix

1 cup baking mix (any brand is fine)

1 can refried beans

1/4 cup finely diced onion

1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies

1/4 cup water

1 cup thick & chunky salsa

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Garnishes (optional) sour cream, green onions, guacamole, tortilla chips

Directions

Heat oven to 375 degrees.

In a large skillet, brown hamburger and drain fat. Add taco seasoning and mix well. Set aside.

Combine next 5 ingredients, then spread in 2-quart baking dish. Top with prepared meat, salsa, and cheese.

Bake 25 minutes.

Serves 6
